I can't fathom how anyone could ever dislike a place like this.

Wow. I had no idea the island was going to be like this. I mean, I know I signed up for it, obviously I did, but I didn't know it'd be this beautiful.

What? I'm a Minnesota farm kid. Let me be amazed, okay?

So, yeah, I'm Adam and I'm apparently very easily amazed.

This weather has been interesting. Don't get me wrong! I definitely squirreled away some cream pies. The red rain? Clever island! Even if it ruined a dress I just made. I suppose I can forgive you because this green rain?

I like it.

A lot.

It just occurred to me that I never asked. The huts that I was directed to upon arrival. Are these permanent quarters or will I have to find somwhere else to live after I have been here for a time?

And could have done without the hot sauce rain storm. Interesting taste though.

I am pleased to say that there are now two new children of the island, both of whom are doing quite well. If anyone would like to meet my daughter before she is given to Lady Arva, I would welcome a visit.

I know the gods have quite the sense of humor but hot sauce? I guess it's useful if you like it and want to actually go out and catch it.

I heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time today. Kind of makes all of this feel more real.

I could have sworn Phillip smiled at me today but I think it was just gas. Doesn't matter, I'm counting it.

Hello? I was told that people could use this to communicate with me? It is nothing like the phones that I know of.

So a few things that I've been meaning to post.

1. The birth center is officially available for everyone's use. There are supplies in there including diapers, some blankets, the breast bump etc. The massage chair has been moved in there as well if you want to use it.

2. I'm thinking about starting childbirth classes if there is enough interest. I want to do two versions, one for people who aren't currently pregnant but might be considering it and want to learn more and the more traditional class for those that are pregnant. So let me know if you are interested.

3. Leonard and I are having a baby. We don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet but we're both too nosey not to find out so we'll keep you posted.

I've been a busy little bee lately. I've made some mock-ups for dresses for the lovely ladies of the island. I suspect they should compliment all figures, but I'll make adjustments if needed.

Well this is certainly going to be lots of fun.

I vote we don't tell them until we have to and for the love of god, keep Stiles away from Luke Skywalker. I do not want to be anywhere nearby when they fun into each other.

I guess this is where I say I'm Stiles, and I like long walks on the beach, or something like that. I've actually never taken a long walk on the beach, but I'm sure I'd like it if I did? Maybe. Probably. If I was wearing shoes. I'm not sure about the sand between my toes. I don't think I'd like that, it would be annoying. So yeah, no walks on the beach without shoes. Gotta have shoes.

You know what? I can totally deal with being in Paradise with a bunch of sexy people.

Definitely better than what's going on back home. I made the right decision in coming here.
